Depression, Mental Health

When we fight depression, external love and support do not always help us feel better.

Depression is internal. It’s inside. It’s in the mind and body. Nobody can see it, but we can feel it.

We feel alone, helpless, hopeless, and worthless. We feel like nobody and nothing can help us and save us.

It’s an ongoing battle and struggle.

When we suffer, although it may not make us feel completely better and solve the underlying issues, it does feel good when others reach out to check on us. It feels good being loved and cared for.
