We Weren’t Born to Work

We weren’t born to work.

We were born to live.

We were born to survive. That’s why we have survival instincts.

Living is work. So is surviving.

Work is a means to make money to meet our needs.

We’re really not working for money. We’re really working for food, water, shelter, and clothing.

We must do what we have to do in order to survive.

I’m not sure why we stress ourselves out over work and put so much pressure on ourselves about it.

Are the things we’re worried about life or death? Do they even matter in the grand scheme of things? Are they contributing to the survival of ourselves and our fellow humans?

I understand we need to work to meet our needs and survive, but remember, we were also born to live – and live freely.
