It’s Not Selfish, It’s Necessary

Taking care of ourselves and our health is not selfish. It’s necessary.

We have our own life to live and need to survive.

To be at our best, we need to be healthy and strong and need to have energy and be able to think clearly.

We must take care of ourselves and our health so we can be around for the long haul. If we can’t take care of ourselves, how are we going to take care of others?

By making ourselves and our health a priority, we’ll be better able to take care of others and be there for others when they are in need.

Others may call me selfish. I believe I owe it to myself.

I believe we’d all be in better shape physically, mentally, and emotionally if we applied this philosophy and lived it.
