Getting a haircut is self-care.
Working out is self-care.
Walking is self-care
Sleeping is self-care.
Drinking water is self-care.
Cutting our nails is self-care.
Reading a book is self-care.
Writing is self-care.
Resting and relaxing is self-care.
Spending time with our loved ones is self-care.
Showering is self-care.

These things may seem insignificant, but they make me feel better after I do them.

Self-care isn’t some extraordinary, extravagant event or experience.

Self-care is doing something nice for ourselves. Self-care is nourishing our minds, bodies, and souls.

Take care of yourself. Do something nice for yourself each and every day.
