Slow Down and See the Snowflakes

When we run in the summer heat, we lose sweat. When we run in the winter cold, we lose snot. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I was forced outside in a winter wonderland.

I’d rather be inside running on a treadmill, but the gyms are closed and I don’t have a treadmill.

Fortunately, I do have running shoes and clothes.

I’d rather be running in tropical paradise ☀️, but I’m not. I’m here.

Life is an adventure. So is running. Being forced outside in the snow may be a blessing in disguise. It’s a reminder to see the natural beauty, toughen up, and make the best of every situation.

The snow forced me to slow down. By slowing down I got to appreciate the sights and scenery.

Instead of stopping to smell the roses 🌹, I slowed down and saw the snowflakes.❄️

Also, I got to use my new Yeti mug this morning thanks to my wonderful wife. I love her. I also love coffee.
